💳 Stripe Payment Processing Policy

At Yellow Breeches Counseling, we are committed to making your experience as smooth, secure, and convenient as possible—including how you pay for your sessions. We use Stripe, a trusted and secure third-party payment processor, to handle credit, debit, and HSA card transactions.

🔐 Secure, Encrypted Transactions

All payments processed through Stripe are encrypted and PCI-compliant, meaning your card information is never stored on our servers and remains confidential and secure. Stripe is widely used in healthcare-adjacent settings and meets the highest standards of payment security.

💲 Charges and Receipts

  • Payments are due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

  • Charges may appear on your statement as “Yellow Breeches Counseling” or “Stripe.”

  • You will receive an electronic receipt via email after each transaction.

  • You may also request a superbill for insurance reimbursement, if eligible.

💳 Cards Accepted

We accept the following through Stripe:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

  • Discover

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards

📅 Automatic Billing (If Applicable)

For ongoing therapy clients, you may choose to securely store your card on file through Stripe for automatic billing after each session. Your information will never be shared or used for any other purpose.

Your privacy and security matter.
We never share or sell your personal or financial information. All payment data is processed securely through Stripe and protected with industry-standard safeguards.

📅 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of service, unless prior arrangements are made.

  • In some cases, clients may authorize secure card storage with Stripe for automated billing after each session.

  • Receipts will be sent automatically by email through Stripe following each transaction.

  • Superbills are available upon request for potential insurance reimbursement.


🔁 Refund & Cancellation Policy

Your scheduled session time is reserved just for you. We understand that life happens, and we’re happy to work with you when possible.

  • Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice will not be charged.

  • Monday appointments must be cancelled by the prior Friday to avoid fees.

  • Late cancellations (under 24 hours) or no-shows will be charged a $110 missed appointment fee.

Refunds:

  • Payments for sessions already provided are non-refundable.

  • Refunds will not be issued for missed or late-cancelled sessions unless due to verified emergencies or extenuating circumstances, and are considered on a case-by-case basis.
